Job Title: TA SEND Full time, Location: Rochdale OL11 3TA, Salary: £30,000 - 41,333 per annum (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications), September 2024 - August 2024, About school and role:, A small, friendly primary school located in the Rochdale area is seeking a caring and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team, dedicated to providing a nurturing environment where every child can thrive. This role involves working closely with pupils on a 1-1 basis, requiring someone with prior experience in a similar position. As an integral member of the team, you will play a crucial role in supporting children with special educational needs, helping them develop emotionally and providing strategies to manage triggers effectively., Key responsibilities:, Encourage students to interact with their peers and participate in group activities, Provide 1-1 and small group support to students with Special Educational Needs, Prepare materials tailored to the individual needs of each child and provide constructive feedback, Requirements:, Resilience and adaptability to handle the challenges inherent in the role, Ability to foster peer interaction and group work among students, Patience and flexibility to navigate the dynamic nature of the job, Recent experience in similar roles working with children, Genuine desire to contribute to a dedicated team of educational professionals., Vision for Education is committed to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults.
