Maintenance Engineer, Salary of £23,920 per annum, Mon- Friday, 8 am - 5 pm, 40 hours per week, additional hours as required: “On Call” week including weekend cover that week., East Sussex BN23 6QF – full driving licence essential, at least 18 months, Purpose of the Role, Provide a workshop based engineering role repairing, servicing and maintaining wheelchairs for Rosscare around the East Sussex area., Main Duties and Responsibilities, Workshop Service:, Conduct repairs servicing and maintenance as directed by the Warehouse Manager / Service ManagerProcess all associated paperwork concerning repairs and servicing accurately on a daily basisEnsure infection control policy is followed at all timesUndertake Engineering work in terms of service, repairs and scrapping and to be accountable for the outcomesUndertake Admin duties as required and update the systemEnsure all parts used are allocated through correct process, recorded on the systemStrict adherence to Ross Care’s operational proceduresBe professional in all communication, in the way company is represented to our clientsStocktake– to assist with annual and interim stocktakes as requiredThere is a requirement for this role to participate in an emergency call out rota and to support the field service duties, Field Service:, Conduct service calls as directed by the Warehouse Manager/ Service ManagerEnsure vehicle is safe, clean and tidy at all times, report any issues Process all associated paperwork fully and accurately and return it to the depot once completedBe professional in all communication and adhere to Ross Care operational procedures, policies and instructions, This job description shall not limit your role, you will also be expected to carry out any other duties that your Manager feels are within your capabilities and skill set including Field Service duties in line with operational requirements.
