Chef de Partie, This award-winning independent restaurant and wine shop has an immediate vacancy for a competent Chef de Partie to join the team., Good Food Guide listed and in Brighton’s top 20 restaurants for the past 4 years the menu is shaped by the seasons and showcases informal modern Bistro style dining, innovative small plates, local suppliers, hunters & foragers. The Head Chef/owner has a very craft driven approach to food. Everything is prepared in-house from scratch, (nose to tail) including own butchery, house pickles and ferments, and cured meat & fish. The team is young, focused and work hard, standards throughout are high., We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable CDP, up to date with modern cooking techniques, even-tempered and quality driven with the skill base to move about the kitchen as needed., Required: Qualifications / Skills / Experience, Passion and enthusiasm for food and quality,, Relevant experience in a similar fresh food environment., Professional Cookery level 2 or 3, Creative flair & attention to detail, Team player with a strong work ethic, Meticulous, organised and punctual, Our ideal candidate will have some experience in a similar busy fresh food environment, be resilient and self-aware with a “can do” attitude and above all keen to learn., This employer is committed to the support and development of the whole team in an inclusive and nurturing environment providing excellent chef training, opportunities for promotion and a good work/life balance., Salary: £30,000 (basic + service charge), 5-day week, a mix of straight and double shifts
