We have made it easy to design merchandise with a bespoke logo, artwork or other customisable options, publish it and make a profit from what’s sold., We are now looking to recruit an experienced WordPress developer to work with our team based in our Archway offices, your role will include frontend and backend development of new and existing company ecommerce websites using the WooCommerce plug-in with the work ranging from developing custom themes from supplied designs to customising current websites and managing other plug-ins and functionality., You will work within the ecommerce team, directly with a graphic designer with both working alongside the Sales and Marketing team who are also based at our Archway offices with the support of the company’s tech team., The role includes:, Planning and building of new websites., Front-end design and development, Creating page layouts and adding supplied content and assets., Customising current features to supplied specifications., Adding of new features according to supplied specifications., Maintaining and updating current company websites., Creating custom themes from supplied page designs as required., Participate in meetings forming the concepts and specifications., Liaising with third-party providers, e.g. paid premium plug-in developers., Key skills & experience, Strong experience working with WordPress and WooCommerce., Good knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript., Knowledge of jQuery, jQuery UI and jQuery Plug-ins., Previous experience of backend technologies including PHP and SQL for custom theme builds., Comfortable working with a variety of third-party plug-ins., Understanding of layouts and good UI and UX design., Troubleshooting and performance testing skills., Experience working with Jira task management., Experience with Gitlab code repository a bonus., Experience working with LamdaTest a bonus., Benefits, Pension Scheme, Cycle to Work Scheme, Buy and Sell Annual Leave, Eye Care Scheme, Birthday Day Off, Enhanced maternity & paternity pay, Fantastic offices with:, On site gym and showers, Lockers, Bike storage, Coffee and snacks available all day, Great transport links., If you are interested in this WordPress Developer role, please submit your updated CV., INDLS
