I am looking for a carer ideally, a strong female/male in our house to help with care for my gentle father who has suffered from stroke and dementia. He is friendly, gentle and very cooperative. And, I am looking for someone like more of a wonderful ‘companion’ than anything else. He needs to help with everything from personal care, prompting, initiating and cuing to do things, as well as taking him for a walk in the park etc. This is one of the important exercises in his routine., I am looking for someone with EXPERIENCE working with (nursing) caring experience or working with elderly adults., You must be responsible, reliable, sociable, totally trustworthy, and above all to be very caring and patient. It is important that you speak one of the languages Italian, Tigrinya, Amharic or Arabic. Also, you must be able to cook healthy meals and do light housework., You will work 4 days a week, from Monday to Sunday. Hours are: 9 am to 2 pm. But, flexibility is needed.
